Palo Alto Networks operates a Japan office and has enterprise-level Japan FSI accounts. Cortex XSIAM, their unified SOC platform, is one of the strongest offerings globally in terms of detection architecture and UEBA capability. The Japan FSI deployment challenge is twofold: data residency for the Cortex Data Lake is not yet configured to the standard Japan FSI legal teams require, and the partner ecosystem to implement and support XSIAM at depth in mid-market Japan FSI is thin. Japan presence outside large enterprise accounts depends on a limited number of SI partners.
